Week 22 - Gratefulness Wins
The state of gratitude creates a positive effect on our physical wellbeing. PositivePsychology.com reported these three findings on gratefulness:
Gratefulness helps you become a happier you. You’ll start having more positive emotions and thoughts, you’ll feel more aware and awake, you’ll experience more self-satisfaction, and your overall mood will be enhanced.
Gratefulness helps you become a fitter you. Practicing gratefulness will result in a stronger immune system, less body pains and aches, optimal blood pressure and cardiac functioning, and a better sleep-wake cycle.
Gratefulness helps you become a better you. By practicing being grateful often, you will find it easier to communicate your true feelings, you’ll have more empathy, build strong relationships, increase your likability in social groups, and be more involved in team activities.
What do you need to let go of completely in order to have a grateful heart?
