How to Turn Your Bedroom Into a Floral Haven

I’m no stranger to floral things, as you can probably tell if you’ve been following me on IG for more than a year. Floral walls, floral pillows, floral bedsheets and just about every other piece of decor that you can possibly imagine. Why hold back if your one and only goal is to surround yourself in a floral haven?! To my surprise, it all just worked together without clashing or looking kitschy (methinks). And I have one main company to thank for that: Cstudio Home. Cstudio is the sister company of The Company Store, who partnered with me to bring this floral space to life. Take a look at our combined efforts!

I know what you’re thinking: is that wallpaper or a painted mural? It’s wallpaper ^_^. You can find out more about it in this post. With that out of the way, let’s take a look at what makes this room work and how you can reimagine it for your own space!

Although there are flowers everywhere you look, the reason why it doesn’t seem overwhelming is because of several reasons:

  1. The floral patterns complement each other but it doesn’t match exactly.

  2. I stuck to a strict color palette, even if it doesn’t seem that way at first.

  3. Not everything is floral, like my pink bedsheets. Color-blocking is key.

To make your room more feminine with floral patterns, you have to first pick your favorite colors. It’s okay if you want an eclectic look with all sorts of colors. In that case, be intentional about color-blocking. Make your key furniture pieces either really plain or full of patterns so they can complement the rest of the room. In my case, I chose to make my walls colorful and my bed relatively plain. It all depends on what you like better!

My favorite solid-color sheets:

The color palette I chose consisted mostly of pinks, reds, and greens, so I chose the following pillows to complement my look:

And of course, I can’t forego my current favorite bedding set ever: the Eyelet Percale set by Cstudio!

After assembling your floral masterpieces, feel free to add the cherries on top: fresh flowers from your local market! That’s right: there’s no such thing as overkill when you have fresh farm flowers. Literally go nuts. I hope you’ve enjoyed this quick little tutorial of mine, and I can’t wait to see what you guys create with your unique spaces!
