My First Time Cooking with HelloFresh!

I've always been the type to only do well at tasks that I find fun and rewarding, which is why I generally steered away from serious cooking. Our package arrived on time and in excellent condition. There were cold packs inside to keep all the ingredients as fresh as possible.

I received three delicious recipes: Korean Beef Bibimbap, Creamy Dill Chicken, and Cherry-Drizzled Pork Chops. I'll document how I made the bibimbap for you guys.

1. Prep the Veggies

Can we just take a look at how fresh those veggies are?! LOVE it! 


2. Make the Sauce

They provided all the ingredients needed, including vinegar. I really appreciate that HelloFresh doesn't just assume I have basic ingredients like vinegar because I actually don't. Lol!


3. Cook Rice

Yep, I don't have a rice cooker, either. But you don't need one! If you want to cook a cup of rice, just boil two cups of water, throw the rice in, and reduce the heat to low for 10-15 minutes.


4. Sautee the Veggies

Sautee everything in salt and pepper. That's all!


5. Cook the Ground Beef

This is when you dump all the chopped ginger and garlic in and mix it all around until the beef becomes browned and fragrant.


6. Plate and Serve!

My favorite part!


All this was so fun and easy that I will definitely continue this service in the future.
