How to Create a High-Converting Website
Yesterday I published my August Income Report, which showed my earnings and IG growth for that month. Today I'm going to explain in-depth about how I achieved those numbers.
If you aspire to be a full-time Instagrammer or simply monetize your online platform, then these are the exact steps to take. It can't get any more straightforward than this!
Create a Website
You might not have any idea how to operate or even create a website from scratch, but luckily, you don't have to. We're not living in the 90's anymore! Website builders like Weebly make it incredibly easy for you to register a domain and create your own stunning website. Plus, they’re having a 15% off discount right now for first-time users. Here's why you need a website if you want to monetize your online influence:
1. Websites give you another stream of income. Sure, you might be doing well on your IG, but you can potentially double or triple your income if you have a website.
2. Websites are easy to make and maintain if you use Weebly.
3. Weebly website plans are affordable. Much more affordable than a lot of website builders out there. If you're unhappy with your plan, you can cancel and get a full refund anytime. There's nothing to lose.
4. A beautiful, high-performing website makes your brand a lot sexier to companies.
I used Weebly to create a landing page for my mobile presets. From start to finish, the process took less than 20 minutes. I'm dead serious. I didn't even do it half-heartedly; the template I used was already perfect so all I had to do was copy and paste my pre-written text and replace the pictures. How effective is this landing page, you ask? Well, my mobile presets have only been released for two months, but it has already generated $1,640. No matter what type of product you want to sell with your website, you'll be a lot more successful at it if you follow these optimization tips.
Choose an Optimized Template
Weebly has a vast selection of templates for all types of different websites: e-commerce, blogging, business, photography and much more. The theme I chose was called Oikos.
Create a Defined Sales Funnel
When your visitors first enter your website, they have to know exactly where to look. An optimized template from Weebly will help you with this aspect because it already takes your sales funnel into account. Here's how I designed my sales funnel (click here to open the website so you can follow along to see how I designed it):

Only Add Necessary Pages
Keep your navigation bar as simple as possible to encourage higher click-throughs. If your navigation bar has a ton of different pages, it'll overwhelm your visitors and they won't click where you want them to click the most. I kept my navigation bar at only three pages: Home, FAQ, and Contact.
Make Yourself Available
Contact pages are crucial to establishing trust between you and your visitors, especially if you're selling things on your website. Have you ever encountered businesses that make it hard for you to contact them? If so, you should remember how frustrating it can be when you need help but have nowhere to turn. Don't be like those businesses. The easier it is for people to contact you, the more they will trust you. My contact page already came with the Weebly template that I chose, so I didn't need to do anything except change the banner photo and plug in some text.
The reason why I keep advocating for Weebly is because they're the best web host I've used so far. Everything is super user-friendly, modern, professional, and affordable. I also love that all my edits are saved as soon as I make them, so even if my computer crashes or I accidentally hit the backspace button (which happens frequently), I don't have to be afraid of losing my changes. Everything has already been saved. This makes a huge difference for bloggers because each post/optimization takes a lot of work, so when your changes aren't saved, it could be soul-crushing. I encourage you to at least give Weebly a try by checking out what they have to offer. You'll love what you see, trust me!
