My studio is a solid mess right now as I try to navigate my way around some new looks 😝 but the progress is just as important as the finished product! 😊 Something that's been on my mind lately is progress in communication. I read this book last year called Boundaries by Townsend and Cloud, and it completely changed my life. 🙌🏽 It talks about how it's not other people's responsibility to read our minds, but our responsibility to communicate our own desires and thoughts. Similarly, we expect God to read our minds just because He knows all things--which He does, but we were designed to communicate what we want to Him through prayer. Communication requires vulnerability and enhances intimacy. We don't get closer to God or other people by expecting them to read our minds. We establish trust and intimacy through open communication. ❤️🙏🏼 Can anyone relate??
