How to Install Exposed Brick Wallpaper (Video - For Renters!)
When I moved into my new loft, I knew I had to install an exposed brick wall. It had everything "industrial" going for it-- the pipes, concrete, high ceilings -- everything except for exposed brick. So, after some digging on the internet, I found Lauren from WallabyWalls, who referred me to the best custom wallpaper company she knew, My Wall Images. I immediately got in touch with Andy from My Wall Images, who helped me pick out the perfect wallpaper according to the reference images I sent. He worked quickly and diligently to ship the wallpaper, and the final product was even better than what I saw on screen! Although Andy sent me peel and stick wallpaper, I had to figure out a way to make it work with my apartment walls because it had cheap paint that would 100% peel off with any kind of wallpaper. This is the method that has always worked for me, so I hope you'll try it out! 100% success rate (so far) ;)!
Here are the materials I used to create this brick wallpaper removable for renters:
- Painter's tape
- Double-sided tape
- X-acto knife
- Brick wallpaper from My Wall Images (they have the best custom wallpaper I've ever used)
